Always delicious there! The lunch menu is just as recommended as the evening menu. Price / performance ratio really good!

If you sit further inside in the back seats, after half an hour you smell completely of frying fat. Has rarely happened in restaurants so far, so one point is deducted. But the food is really good!

The food here used to be an absolute hit, but has unfortunately deteriorated a lot. Somehow everything is no longer as flavourful, but rather smothered in a chewy peanut sauce. It used to be very special and unique, today it's just average. Too bad. The sodas are delicious.

We had a wonderful meal here. i had the Vịt Chiên Giòn which is crispy duck and vegetables, and i chose a coconut milk and peanut sauce. my friend had Bún Giòn SaTế – Crispy Noodles à la Hội An with chicken. both were so delicious. the service is terrific--just a lovely lovely evening.

Amazing, delicious food and great helpful staff. Definitely recommended for those who want a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

My absolute favorite restaurant! The staff is super nice and the food is delicious! I even ordered a small buffet at Hoi An on my 18th birthday. That was very well received by everyone!

Very inconspicuous from the outside. The food is really great and inexpensive. Even as a vegan, you are in good hands here.

At short notice we were able to get a table on a Sunday evening. The ambience has an Asian touch. Completely adequate. The food was delicious and more than enough. With two starters, two main courses and four drinks at € 62 including tip, the price-performance ratio is very good. The only minor drawback was the service, which was really super friendly, but sometimes not that attentive. But in the end we can stand over it. A super fresh meal, delicious non-alcoholic cocktails and a great evening. Service a little more attentive next time, then absolutely perfect :-)

Very tasty dishes. Homemade lemonades with sweet little messages on the glass. Friendly staff. Love to come here. The kitchen looks very authentic. The lanterns make a great ambience.

We were there for the first time. Since the food was waiting for us after the order, we received a drink on the house. When the food was served we were delighted. Great in taste, the vegetables crunchy and the duck crispy. We will come back. The wait was worth it

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Kiel! The food is authentic and tastes very good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and offers plenty of space. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace. The service is attentive and always friendly. Keep it up Team Hoi An Kiel!

As a lover of Asian cuisine, it was natural to go to a Vietnamese restaurant. The menu offers a great variety and it tastes just amazing. The waiting time is reasonable too, I'll be back soon ....

Good food, but cigarette smoke the entire meal even when sitting inside made the experience only three stars.

We were there spontaneously at lunchtime and were offered a place outside when the summer weather was nice. There is also a lunch menu in addition to the normal menu! The service is very friendly and requests are met. Our food was very good! Also for the eyes - very well presented. The fruity drinks are highly recommended! We'd love to come back!

Without any ifs or buts: One of the best - maybe the best - Vietnamese I've ever been to. Super great food, generous portions and very fair prices. The service leaves nothing to complain about either.

I loved the hot ginger mint drink, served with fresh slices of ginger and sprigs of mint leaves. It was amazingly good on a cold winter night. I ordered another one. It was full on a Sunday night so reservations would be recommended. This would have been 5-star except for the grumpy slow service and the fried ice cream which wasn’t very good.

Great food, great service and great portions

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants we have been to in Europe. The have a huge selection of vegetarian and vegan options and can alter the dishes based on allergies. The food was freshly made and tasted very authentic and fresh.

One of the best in Kiel when it comes to Asian enjoyment! We recommend! Actually, I shouldn't post this at all, because this insider tip shouldn't be accessible to everyone .... On the other hand, it has to be said that this shop really deserves full marks!

it is a bit difficut to find since it hides itself inside a corner. the food is good but sometimes taste different. I think they change their cook sometimes. The drinks are also taste different everytime. It really need luck to have a good chance to get good food here. The waiting time might be long sometimes.

Very delicious vietnamese food to a reasonable price. The food tastes exactly like the local food in Hoi An (the name already says) , that you can eat in the old quarter of the town. The selfmade drinks are also very tasty and the decorations and photos inside are beautiful. All in all it is a hidden gem in Kiel, where you can experience a bit of the vietnamese (food) culture.

Nice Vietnamese food. There is an outdoor seating area which is quite nice. Service wasn't great though.

Too good for veg dishes. They have the best tofu. Beef was not good.

Amazing food at a great price. Service was wonderful. We arrived at 1915 on a Friday and there were still places to sit. Would highly recommend.

The restaurant is in a good location and the service was good. The food, however, was disappointing. Maybe, being a Vietnamese, my expectation was too high but the food was definitely not authentic. Ordered goi cuon, pho and bun nem and none of them were good. My friend who went with me also didn't like any of the food. I have tried several Vietnamese restaurants in Germany and this one is by far, the worst.

I was a little disappointed to find that all "veggie" options contain fish (sauce) by default and you have to cancel that in advance. Otherwise the food was good, but the waiters seemed a little overwhelmed with the crowd.
